Today is January 15th, and yes, I’m still in New York. After a snowstorm in Georgia, another one in New York, and two cancelled flights, I will finally be heading back to Guatemala tomorrow.
The snow has put a HUGE damper on my preparation plans for school (as I will now be arriving at NPH tomorrow around 5 pm and have my first class Monday at 7:30 am. Oh boy.) But that doesn’t mean I’m any less happy about the few extra days at home with my loved ones. I’ve had a fantastic three weeks at home and am very fortunate to have had so much time here. Tomorrow’s going to be a rough transition back to life in Guate, but I’m looking forward to starting my new classes and really making the most of the rest of my time in Central America. Entonces – hasta Guate, nos vemos!
